Oh, what joy!

What a surprise and a joyous one, at that! I opened the blinds to reveal this beauty blooming in the garden. The kids thoroughly enjoy planting sunflowers in the garden every year because of the final height of the stalks -- they tower over us by the time they bloom (6-7ft tall). Although, we have never harvested or eaten the seeds (which I am not quite sure how to do), they are just a joy to see growing in the back yard. Hehe -- Welcome, little fella!
